We’re excited to share our ongoing work with Dianthus Therapeutics, a clinical-stage biotechnology company dedicated to advancing the next generation of antibody complement therapeutics to treat severe autoimmune diseases. Since partnering with Miracle a few months ago, Dianthus has significantly expanded its use of our real-time insights platform to unify data from clinical trial systems, streamline clinical trial management, and automate monitoring across its entire pipeline.

At Miracle, we are honored to support the Dianthus team with an automated control room that centralizes data from multiple trial systems and provides real-time, actionable insights—empowering Dianthus to optimize clinical operations, medical monitoring, and data management. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our shared mission to transform patient outcomes.

The Challenge: Complex Studies & Siloed Data

Dianthus is running three concurrent clinical trials, each with its own protocols, endpoints, and timelines. Each study also relies on multiple clinical trial systems—Electronic Data Capture (EDC), Interactive Response Technology (IRT), central lab systems, ePRO (patient-reported outcomes), and a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)—all of which must be centrally monitored for enrollment progress, medical monitoring, safety oversight, and data management.

Without a single, unified platform, data remained siloed across different systems, making it difficult to maintain real-time visibility and efficiently share progress across leadership, medical, safety, operations, and data management teams. Key pain points included:

  • Manual Workflows to Consolidate Data from Different Systems
    • With separate portals for EDC, IRT, ePRO, central lab systems, CTMS, etc., it was time-consuming to download and merge data into a single visualization. In addition, inconsistent data structures and formats in different systems made it challenging to combine information in a meaningful way.
  • Tracking Enrollment & Progress Across Schedule of Assessments
    • In rare diseases like gMG, MMN, and CIDP, every eligible participant is especially critical. Real-time tracking of enrollment, patient profiles, and safety events is critical but often hindered by fragmented data and disparate systems — delaying issue detection and resolution.
  • Maintain Compliance & Visibility
    • Protocol deviations, adverse events, and data inconsistencies need to be identified and resolved immediately, yet monitoring across multiple systems was error-prone and time-consuming.

Dianthus needed a single platform that could combine data from all their trial systems and provide automated, real-time dashboards for every stakeholder, enabling faster, data-driven decisions across all active studies.

Enter Miracle: A Single Source of Truth

With Miracle’s pre-built integrations with industry-standard clinical trial systems, Dianthus was up and running with automated dashboards in under a week. Out-of-the-box dashboards for enrollment tracking, patient profiles, medical monitoring, trial timeline forecasting, and lab values provided immediate visibility into critical study metrics. Once the standard dashboards were live, the Dianthus team worked closely with Miracle to iterate on new visualizations and dashboards, unlocking insights that were previously out of reach or too time-consuming to implement.

Even though each clinical trial system provides its own dashboards and reports, these tools often focus on a single data stream. Miracle takes a vendor-agnostic approach, aggregating data from all sources into one unified view—allowing teams to see the bigger picture across every study and quickly drill into the site-level, subject-level, and visit-level details when needed.

Freed from manually retrieving data across multiple systems, Dianthus can now focus on interpreting that data and optimizing their studies. By serving as a central control room, Miracle empowers Dianthus to unify and visualize data in real time, drastically reducing manual effort and accelerating key decisions across all active trials.

Key use cases included:

  • Enrollment Tracking: Monitor screenings, screen failures, randomizations, and visits.
  • Forecasting & Timelines: Predict enrollment progress and overall study timelines.
  • Patient Profiles & Medical Monitoring: Correlate dosing schedules with concomitant medications, medical histories, and adverse events.
  • Site Performance: Break down enrollment rates, EDC entry compliance, and query resolution by site.
  • Data Management Metrics: Track page and query statuses to maintain data integrity throughout the study.

“Leveraging the capabilities of Miracle, we are now able to see our data in new and unexpected ways. The real-time insights provided enable Dianthus to make more informed, data-driven decisions and centralizing our incoming clinical data also allows us to work more efficiently and effectively across multiple functional groups. With Miracle’s intuitive interface and powerful capabilities, we now have a clearer understanding of our data which positions us well for the future.”
Blake Potter, Director of Data Sciences, Dianthus Therapeutics

The Dianthus team immediately benefited from Miracle in the following ways:

  • Automated, real-time dashboards
    • Miracle replaces manual trackers with real-time updates, ensuring data is always accurate and up to date.
  • Centralized Communication for All Clinical Trials
    • All stakeholders—across clinical operations, data management, safety, medical, and leadership—can log into a single portal. Role-specific views and dashboards ensure each team sees the metrics and insights most relevant to their responsibilities, streamlining communication and decision-making.
  • Self-Service Analytics
    • Once data is centralized in Miracle, spinning up new dashboards or drilling into specific metrics no longer requires starting from scratch. Miracle provides an intuitive interface that enables teams to view study progress not only at a high level, but also at a granular subject level. Features like filtering by site, date range, or other variables on their own are also made simple.
  • Performance-Optimized Visualizations
    • Clinical trial systems can require lengthy load times—sometimes lasting minutes—especially when refreshing complex reports. With Miracle, data refreshes occur in near real time, and dashboards load within seconds.
  • Accelerate Data-Driven Decisions
    • Real-time insights into enrollment, patient profiles, adverse events, and data management enable Dianthus teams to act swiftly, identifying bottlenecks as quickly as possible and keeping trials on schedule.
